Reporting, analysis & tools
Whether it’s data collection and analysis or reporting and distribution, our expertise provides your organization with the information that matters at the right time.
You can always expect a meaningful, error-free final report from us, visually attractive and double-checked without fail – and perfectly implemented in your CD/CI system.
It is central to much of our work to place action-relevant information and reports in the hands of the right recipients at the right time. There may be just a few recipients (regional heads, for example) or there may be thousands (e.g. all staff). If you already have IT solutions in place for the targeted internal distribution of information, then we deliver datasets and reports, prepared exactly in accordance with your instructions, for importing into your systems – even at high frequency.
In the many cases where companies have no system for the mass preparation and distribution of individualized information and reports, we can help: for over ten years we have provided our clients with proven solutions based on MS Office, with no IT project or additional software.
We would be happy to meet you for a no-obligation discussion to demonstrate our reporting and distribution solutions.
We use standard software, which you normally already have, to prepare any number of individual reports for staff, regions, teams, advisors, etc. Our solution works not just in our environment, but also internally in yours (if you want to incorporate confidential information in the reports, for example). Whether internally or externally, all reports are error-free and visually attractive, produced automatically and rapidly – also in your own CD/CI system.
If you wish not only to produce your customized reports but also to send them to the right recipients straight away, that’s where our automated distribution solutions based on MS Outlook come into play: you can send hundreds or thousands of personalized e-mails, with or without customized attachments – such as a personal link to a questionnaire, or a personal report as a PDF. Our automated distribution solutions are fast, accurate and stable, whether they are running on our premises or internally on yours.
When conducting client surveys in particular, we give participants the opportunity to identify themselves to you or your company. As a rule, more than 50% of the clients surveyed make use of it (up to 90% in wealth management). This enables us to forward clients’ answers to you so that you can use the opportunities they represent and actively counter any threats.
To enable you to react promptly to positive or critical feedback we also offer an alerts process. Based on MS Outlook, this passes the feedback concerned to you or the responsible contact person in your organization. The alerts, which can be supplemented with additional client information, are distributed to final recipients by us or internally by you. Our processes can be configured to ensure that client-identifying data never leave your premises.
If you have internal data or survey results but not in the form you want, then we are your reliable partner: we can help you to prepare or validate data, merge datasets, conduct selections (e.g. for stratified random sampling) or weight answers. You can leave the laborious data handling in Excel or SPSS to us, concentrating on what you really want to achieve.
Coding open answers and texts is also among our core competencies, and we can develop multi-stage coding systems for you, applying them systematically across multiple projects and/or several years. We process answers and texts in all languages. To illustrate our findings, we often compile a selection of quotations and/or WordClouds.
We gather data from clients, staff and the market to obtain information and knowledge. We independently conduct online and postal surveys, as well as qualitative studies. For extensive quantitative surveys (e.g. by telephone and CATI) and for global qualitative studies, we work together with selected partners. In addition, we are happy to do «desk research» and analyze existing data and information sources for you.
Qualitative market research has always been a useful supplement to quantitative surveys of clients, staff and the market. Detailed in-depth discussions with clients, staff and prospects – whether in the form of individual interviews or focus groups – are the ideal mechanism for clarifying complex scenarios and «why» questions.
We often use qualitative individual interviews and focus groups to prepare quantitative studies or deepen them. We also work on a qualitative basis when the objective is to generate creative ideas or test specific inputs, e.g.:
There are increasing possibilities of conducting client, staff and market studies digitally. This is a good thing: online surveys are precise, cost-efficient ways of actively procuring data. Powerful, secure servers are thus important to us, and so are user-friendly, attractively designed online questionnaires. We are happy to individualize these for you in line with the requirements of your CD/CI system.
Displaying perfectly on all end devices (desktops, tablets, smartphones) in both Latin and non-Latin fonts, our online questionnaires permit both simple and complex types of questions. Our survey server is located in Switzerland. If necessary we can offer additional precautions to protect identifying client data (such as IP addresses).
Our in-depth analyses enable you to draw valuable conclusions from existing or newly gathered company, market or third-party data. While we constantly evaluate new methods and algorithms, we also like to use proven, intelligible approaches. Our analytical services concentrate primarily on the following strategic methods:
Discover the dependencies and interdependencies in your data: What are the central drivers of client and staff satisfaction? What determines the attractiveness of your brand? How relevant are digital services to the satisfaction of your clients? We often employ factor, correlation and regression analysis, together with decision trees, to answer these questions and others like them.
You want to classify behavioral and attitudinal types in your sector, and focus your marketing on homogeneous target groups. Examples of this include different types of consumers, «quitters» or investors, as well as different life-cycle segments. We use factor and cluster analysis and decision trees to isolate these and similar groups with characteristic behavioral and attitudinal patterns.
Let’s say you are familiar with the characteristics of a particular client group, and you would like to identify other existing clients with similar characteristics. This would enable you, for example, to target potential «quitters» or potential buyers of particular products and services. We generally work with decision trees to project or predict characteristics in your client base.
